Sarah Shpall grew up in Covina, California and attended Foothill Country Day School from Kindergarten through 8th grade and Vivian Webb School for high school. She then moved to Eugene, Oregon and attended the University of Oregon and earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Judaic Studies. During both high school and college, Ms. Shpall had the opportunity to study abroad in Israel. She graduated from Oregon, moved back to Los Angeles to work for Hillel at the University of Southern California. It was after that year that she came to Stephen S. Wise Temple Elementary School for the first time. Ms. Shpall worked as a teacher’s assistant for two years in both kindergarten and second grade. Realizing that education was the career that she wanted to pursue, she earned a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University, as well as a California Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential. She had been teaching for the past four years at Kenter Canyon Elementary School in both the second and fourth grades. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and to the movies. She looks forward to joining the Stephen S. Wise community again, and continuing her teaching journey where it began.
