Mrs. Malka Clement

Malka Clement made Stephen S. Wise her home away from home in 1990. She graduated from Ben Gurion University in Israel receiving two B.A. degrees, one in English Language and Literature and the other in Hebrew Language and Literature. Mrs. Clement taught English and was Coordinator of English Studies at Alon Junior High School in Dimona, Israel. She is a lifelong learner and is continuously seeking opportunities to bring leading pedagogies and educational theories to her practice. Mrs. Clement participated in the USC Summer Gifted Institute and Dr. Mel Levine’s All Kinds of Minds. In 2010, Mrs. Clement received a M.A. Degree in Education from the American Jewish University.

In 2008, Mrs. Clement received the Milken Family Foundation and the Bureau of Jewish Education Jewish Educator Award. In 2010, she received the Lois Rothblum Award for Excellence in Teaching from the American Jewish University.

Mrs. Clement is devoted to our mission to establish in our students a strong personal identity and commitment to the highest ideals of American democracy, the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
