Jason Kelly came to Los Angeles from England in 1994 immediately following his graduation from the Carnegie College of Physical Education in Leeds, England. At Carnegie College he captained the university's soccer team and also was selected to represent the British Universities soccer team. He received a 1st Class (honors) Bachelors Degree, majoring in Physical Education with a minor in History. Pursuing his studies in education in the U.S., he received his Master's Degree in School Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu
Mr. Kelly began his association with the Stephen S. Wise Temple schools in 1995 as the Athletic Director for the Elementary School. In 2004 he took on the newly created role of Head of Athletics K-12, for the Stephen S. Wise Elementary School and Milken Community High School. In this role he oversees the articulation of programs between the K-12 schools and manages the budget, operations, and finance of all athletic and aquatic programs. His goal is to help the staff develop and achieve an exciting vision for the future of the Wildcats Athletics programs.
He co-chaired the lower school's succesful WASC Accreditation process in 2009 and will add Vice Principal K-6 to his duties for the 2009-10 school year.
Mr. Kelly coaches competitive club soccer teams during the weekends and is proud to have helped many of his players reach the premier level of play in Southern California and attain NCAA college scholarships. In 2007 and 2009, his Westside Breakers Girls U19 teams won State Championships. He is also a small business owner, co-directing a successful residential soccer camp, based at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
