This week our school was visited by the magic of a Fairy Godmother who
reminded us that “anything is possible” and it truly was! We had an amazing
performance of our musical, Cinderella, and I want to acknowledge the hard work
of our Director, Mary Itri, the many supporting adults from our faculty and
parents, and of course, the talented and enthusiastic students who really
brought the story to life. When watching the show I was reminded that with high
expectations in all areas – academics, sports, performing arts – our students
will consistently rise to top levels and bring us their very best!
While
in the midst of the musical we had many other experiences on campus, including
our first grade Exodus from Egypt and grade level Seders. It was so rewarding to
hear the students demonstrate their knowledge about the Passover holiday, sing
the familiar songs, and chant the blessings. I am excited for all of you to have
your family Seders on Monday night so that the kids can share with you their
breadth and depth of understanding on this special holiday.
After many
busy weeks we are all ready for a relaxing and rejuvenating spring vacation. I
wish for all of you a holiday filled with moments of family celebration, and
time to play and reconnect with your children.
Chag Sameach,
Tami Weiser
