Mrs. Amy Burch

Mrs. Burch graduated in 2003 from Emporia State University, Kansas. After obtaining her B.S. degree in Education, Mrs. Burch received an ESL Endorsement. Mrs. Burch was included in the University's Honor Roll List, the Dean's List, and received The Teacher's College Award for Academic Excellence.

Throughout college, Mrs. Burch tutored in the local elementary schools, participating in such programs as HOSTS (Helping One Child To Succeed) and QUEST (Quality Education for Students and Teens). Both programs targeted low-income, high risk students. Because of her involvement with QUEST, Mrs. Burch was hired as the Program Coordinator the year after she graduated.

Mrs. Burch moved to California in 2004, with a Kansas Credential and has since received her California License. She has taught at Wise since 2004.

Mrs. Burch's philosophy of education is a perfect match with the philosophy of Wise.
