Mrs. Anita BenAmi

Mrs. Ben-Ami graduated from Shein College in Israel where she received her certificate in teaching. She taught history, mathematics, literature, Bible, and English as a Second Language at an Israeli junior high school. She also taught elementary school in Israel for ten years.

Mrs. Ben-Ami came to the United States in 1979 and has been teaching at Wise since that time. She studied Early Childhood Education at California State University, Northridge. She has been involved in curriculum writing for the Judaica program.

Mrs. Ben-Ami firmly believes in the importance of imparting Jewish culture to her students and in developing in them a pride and love for Judaism.
