Dear Parents:
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Parent Association at Stephen S. Wise.
The Wise Parent Association (WPA) is a vital and active part of the WISE community. The executive board of the WPA has created an exciting calendar of programs for the upcoming school year. It is our hope that through these programs you are able to meet and become part of the Stephen S Wise Community. There are many opportunities to enjoy Wise as a parent. Some of these opportunities include helping in your child’s class, becoming a room parent or being part of the Purim Carnival. Your participation allows you and your children to experience the community together.
It is my goal to keep you as informed as possible about our community. I invite you to attend the WPA/ES meetings. During these meetings, you will be able to find out what is happening with your child’s education by hearing reports from our school Principal Tami Weiser, from our Director of Education Metuka Benjamin, and other school administrators. During these meetings you can also find out about upcoming events and participate in parent workshops. Your ideas, input and attendance are needed and greatly appreciated. In addition to attending the WPA meetings, I encourage you to read the school’s weekly e-newsletter, the room parents email updates and continue to visit our school website.
WISE is truly a special place. It has much to offer you as a parent as it has to offer your children. I look forward to meeting you and help you discover your community.
