Ms. Talia White holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Judaic Studies from San Diego State University and was awarded a DeLeT (Day-School Leadership through Teaching) fellowship in 2004, participating in the program’s innovative approach to establishing careers in Jewish Education. She first taught at Stephen S. Wise when DeLeT assigned her to a teaching position for the 2004-2005 school year. Miss White earned a Masters in Education and a Bachelor in Biblical Literature at the Fingerhut School of Education at the University of Judaism in May 2006. In the past year, Miss White received her California Teaching Credential from Mount St. Mary’s College.
Ms. White is dedicated to enriching her students’ lives through the education, history and traditions of Judaism. She feels that children create life long meaning from their earliest experiences and that true learning comes from child centered activities that enhance and strengthen the values of family and Judaism.
