Mrs. Appel-Oudenaar attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and received her B.S. in Physical Education. She also attended Casa Loma College and earned an L.V.N. Certificate in Nursing. She worked at Tarzana Regional Medical Center and at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. While a member of the faculty for two years at Meadow Oaks School in Calabasas, Mrs. Appel-Oudenaar taught physical education to Grades K-6, coached all sports, and was the Athletic Director.
She loves to teach, learn from, and care for children. In addition to her year-round work as a teacher and as a nurse, she works during the summers as a camp director, advisor, and counselor. She acknowledges that all her life she has wanted to do something for and with children. Wise is a great place to make this desire a reality.
