Coach Greg Gunerius was delighted to join the staff of Wise as a full time P.E. teacher having spent two years working part-time with P.E. classes and athletic teams. Mr. Gunerius worked in the corporate world before deciding to pursue his passion of teaching children. He earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge and has coached many different sports at Lower to Upper School levels. His greatest joy is helping each child to attain a sense of accomplishment and success through physical activity. Most recently Coach G worked as the P.E. specialist at a charter school in the Palisades where he coordinated the P.E. program and the Parenting Empowerment Program (PEP) which helps students and parents deal with conflict resolution, discipline and boundaries, and increasing a family's attachment to school. He is very much looking forward to continuing to work with our students in Physical Education.
