During the 2008-2009 school year, Wise School was awarded a six-year accreditation, the maximum accreditation, from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

The letter from the Accrediting Commission noted the “stellar aspects of the School” and congratulated us on “the quality of instruction being offered” in our classrooms. A common theme that ran throughout the accreditation document was "excellence", noting that we exhibited excellence in a variety of different arenas, including academics, athletics, performing arts, second language acquisition, and values. The report brimmed with detail on our vast offerings of special programs that provide unique opportunities at our School.

In addition to the strength of our program, faculty, and extracurricular offerings, a WASC accreditation places us competitively in the prestigious world of independent schools.
